Do You Have a Store Where I Can View and Try on Rings?
We are an online business only and do not have a physical store for you to visit. This keeps our overhead costs lower and allows us to offer you quality pieces at much more affordable prices. We take great care to photograph and describe our pieces as accurately as possible so you can have confidence in the item you are purchasing. We would add that if you are purchasing a ring, please be aware of your required ring size and check with us prior to purchase to ensure re-sizing is possible if needed. We are always here to help! Please don’t hesitate to contact us for assistance if you have any questions or you require further information about a specific piece.

How will my order be delivered?
Deliveries within Australia are included in the purchase price. All items come in a beautiful presentation box, packaged carefully and securely for transit. Items are sent via Australia Post Express Post, fully insured and will require signature on delivery. Items will be dispatched within 2 days of cleared payment and delivery should be next business day in capital cities, or 2-3 days in some regional areas, under normal circumstances.  Please note that for security and insurance reasons we cannot ship to PO Box addresses.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: We currently sell to New Zealand, Canada and the United States. Deliveries outside of Australia will be sent with AustPost Express International Post and will incur the following flat rate charges:

New Zealand – $35 AUD
Canada & the United States – $40 AUD

These charges cover the postage with tracking. We cover the additional costs of insurance and sign-on-delivery, for full peace of mind.

Any duties or taxes are the responsibility of the customer. We do not collect any taxes at time of purchase, as these differ for every customer’s location. Please be aware that you may be charged such fees by your customs or postal provider when your package arrives. Please see our Terms & Conditions for further details.

What Is Your Return Policy?
We want your online shopping experience with us to be simple and enjoyable – and we are confident that you will be thrilled when you see your item in person! We are always here to assist you with further information and to help you make the right decision. However, we do understand that sometimes you might change your mind after receiving an item. We do not offer refunds but we can issue a credit note redeemable for a different item, provided you notify us within 3 days of receipt and the piece is returned in original, undamaged and unaltered condition within 7 days via an approved carrier. Return postage and insurance costs are the customer’s responsibility. Please see our Terms & Conditions for full details.

What If My Item Arrives Damaged?
We check all our pieces over very carefully prior to postage and take great care with packaging to ensure your piece will be safe during transit. All our items are sent fully insured. In the unlikely event that there is a problem with your item when it is delivered, please keep all packaging/wrapping and contact us immediately. See our full Terms and Conditions for further detail.

Is It Possible to Have Rings Re-Sized?
It is possible to re-size most of our rings up or down several sizes. We do not offer this service as the most reliable way to re-size a ring is with a jeweller who can physically confirm a proper fit. A reputable jeweller should be able to do this for you at reasonable cost. Some rings are not suitable for resizing, so please check with us prior to purchasing if you think resizing might be necessary. Ring size is always noted in our item descriptions, so please check the listing and contact us if you have any queries.

How Do I Care For My Antique & Vintage Jewellery?
By their nature, antique & vintage pieces have already been worn and enjoyed for a lifetime at least! With the proper care & maintenance they can last another lifetime or more. We can provide specific advice for each item on request but some general points apply to all pieces.

Some wear will occur to all pieces over time as they are used. The better care you take of your jewellery, the longer it will last. For gemset pieces, diamonds, sapphires and rubies will withstand abrasion better than many softer gemstones. If you love the more delicate antique pieces set with pearls, opals and other (relatively) soft gemstones, be aware that you will need to take much greater care with them. Jewellery set with these gems is best kept as dress jewellery and isn’t recommended for everyday wear.

Avoid knocks and scrapes to stone-set jewellery and inspect any claws regularly for damage. Ideally, you should get into the habit of removing your rings (other than robust wedding bands) as soon as you get home. Always remove jewellery before gardening, cooking/cleaning, exercising, showering or undertaking any physical work which might damage them.

Regular careful cleaning will ensure your jewellery always looks its best and can help prevent damage from build-up of dirt and oils. Soft, brittle or porous stones like pearl, opal, onyx, turquoise & emerald can be gently cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth – never use an ultrasonic cleaner for these gems and avoid excessive moisture as this can damage or loosen these more fragile stones from their settings.

Hard, non-porous stones like diamond or sapphire in open-backed gold or platinum settings can be safely soaked in mild soapy water, gently cleaned with a soft toothbrush, then rinsed and dried thoroughly. Gold settings can be cleaned gently with a jewellery cloth to remove tarnish.

Never underestimate how much difference cleaning can make to your diamond jewellery. Even a very thin film of oil or grime will dim the stones considerably and you’ll be amazed at how sparkly they are after a clean!

A Note on Currency Conversion
All of our pieces are priced at and sold in Australian dollars. For the convenience of US & Canadian buyers we provide an estimate of the converted price in those currencies, based on daily exchange rates. Please note that these are provided as a guide only.
All purchases will be processed in AUD and the actual price charged in your currency will be determined by your bank, according to their conversion rate and any additional fees or charges. Contact your card issuer for their terms & conditions.
