English or Australian, 1920s
Art Deco 18ct Gold, Diamond Daisy Ring
A dainty and very sweet diamond cluster ring from the 1920s.
Seven rose-cut diamonds totalling 0.17ct, set in a daisy-shaped platinum-topped mount, on an 18ct yellow gold band with elegant knife-edge shoulders.
Known as a posy ring, this stylish yet timeless design sprang to prominence in the early 1900s and has held its popularity ever since.
This particular ring dates from the 1920s Deco era and is most likely Australian-made, based on the stamps.
It is in very good vintage condition with no thinning to the band and all stones secure in their settings.
A lovely sweet engagement ring or sparkling all-occasion dress ring!
