Art Deco Diamond Solitaire Ring in 18ct Gold & Platinum
An elegant late Art Deco diamond ring from the 1930s.
Almost certainly Australian-made, it is crafted from 18ct yellow gold with platinum shoulders and mount, housing a claw-set sparkling brilliant-cut diamond of 0.12ct.
The mount is slightly domed and features openwork filigree scrolls along each side. Delicate milgrain, beading and geometric engraving adorns the shoulders and upper band, merging to a plain half-round band at the rear.
In excellent vintage condition, the diamond is securely set and free from chips or abrasions, while the band is original width throughout – a sensational Art Deco engagement ring or sparkling diamond dress ring.
It would pair well with a vintage band, too.
