Late Art Deco Two Tone Floral Band Ring in 18ct Gold
A striking late Art Deco Australian band ring from the early Mid-Century c1940s-50s.
It features a floral blossom band in palladium set within a wider border of contrasting 18ct yellow gold, with decoratively scalloped edging to catch the light. Palladium is a precious white metal similar to platinum and has been used in jewellery since the late 1930s.
It is in excellent vintage condition, the floral design still nice and crisp all the way around with no thinning to the band.
It measures 4mm wide and has a nice weight to it – a substantial band that still looks very feminine on the hand.
A marvellous vintage wedding ring or sturdy gold band ideal for everyday wear.
