*** Please note that chain & box are for display only – the paperclip chain shown is available for purchase separately. ***
Crafted in 9ct yellow gold with a bloomed finish for that lush high-carat appearance, this beautiful crucifix pendant dates to the early 1900s Edwardian period.
Bearing stamps on the rear for Willis & Sons, a well-known Australian maker of the era, this particular mark incorporating the unicorn was in use from 1904 until they closed the workshop in 1931.
Set at centre with a round-cut ruby of 0.08ct in a starburst setting and decorated with lovely hand engraved foliate detail to each of the four terminals, it measures 3.6cm in length and 2.3cm wide.
It is in excellent antique condition with no dents to the gold and no chips to the ruby.
