Victorian Sterling Silver Hinged Bangle
An exquisite hand-engraved bangle from the late 1800s.
Likely dating from the 1880s, it features all the meticulous workmanship characteristic of the Victorian Aesthetic period.
The front of the bangle features a hand-engraved floral and foliate design, framed at both ends with intricate geometric engraving. The flowers and some of the leaves have been picked out with gold overlay: rose gold for the flowers and yellow gold for the leaves.
The back of the bangle is plain, while a decorative scalloped edge runs all the way around both sides.
The bangle closes securely with its original box clasp and there are no visible dents.
This is such a wearable piece, and in such magnificent condition for its age!
A perfect treat – for yourself or someone special.
